Die Türbleche sind hauptsächlich aus dünnwandigem Blech (ca.0,8mm) hergestellt; diese sind NICHT für diese Last ausgelegt. Die Türen können sich verziehen oder sogar verformen.

The VANBIKE is only attached to the hinges of the rear doors - at the points that are optimized to bear the load. The door panels themselves are not subjected to any stress.
Yes. On Fiat models, you only need to remove two screws, on other vehicle types, you need to remove pins. The VANBIKE can then be removed effortlessly.
The VANBIKE is compatible with hinges that allow the rear door to be opened at 90° or 180°. Installation is not possible with 270° hinges, but these can be replaced with suitable hinges.
The VANBIKE consists of a thin-walled special round tube that is cut on a 3D tube laser, CNC-bent and welded to laser-cut sheet metal parts. To protect against corrosion, it is primed using the KTL process (cathode dip painting). The multiple holes ensure that the inside of the tubes is also coated. The VANBIKE is then powder-coated in RAL 9005 (matt black).

If the 13-pin plug is plugged into the tow bar socket, the PDC system is deactivated. If you want to continue using the PDC system while the bike rails are folded up, simply unplug the plug.

Für die separaten Leuchtenleiste des VANBIKE ist die elektrische Verbindung zum Fahrzeug dringend erforderlich. Der VANBIKE wird mit einem langen Kabel und am Ende einem 13 poligem Stecker (wie bei einem Anhänger) geliefert. Dazu benötigt das Fahrzeug eine 13 polige Steckdose. Diese Steckdose muss mit der Elektrik des Fahrzeuges verbunden sein.
Es wird geraten, diesen Elektrokabelsatz von einer Fachwerkstatt montieren zu lassen.
Dieser wird benötigt, um die am Ende des Fahrzeuges platzierte 13-polige Steckdose mit Strom zu versorgen. Der E-Satz wird normalerweise montiert, wenn auch eine Anhängerkupplung montiert wird. Denn dadurch erhält der mitgeführte Anhänger seine Elektrik, bzw. seine Leuchten funktionieren baugleich mit dem Zugfahrzeug. Wenn eine AHK montiert und ein E-Satz montiert wird, muss die Verbindung zum Armaturenbrett herstellt werden. Das bedeutet, wenn ein Signal, wie z.B. Blinkleuchten nicht funktionieren, dann wird dieses im Armaturenbrett angezeigt.
